Show jumping: compact and mobile
Show jumping places the rider in a forward seat and asks for repeated changes of position. The jacket therefore uses a shorter visual line that stays clear of the saddle and moves cleanly through the shoulder and torso. Vainqueur currently offers the classic single-breasted show jumping model for men and women.
Dressage: a longer formal line
A short dressage competition jacket retains greater visual length and formality. Vainqueur dressage models are available in classic and modern versions. The classic model is single-breasted; the modern model is double-breasted. That front construction changes the character of the jacket even when the fabric and color remain the same.
What does not change?
Both disciplines need freedom through the shoulders, a clean collar, controlled sleeve length and enough room to close the jacket without pulling. Both can be personalized through color, piping, buttons and permitted applications. The right choice should be based on discipline first, then silhouette, then visual details.
