Dressage compresses a performance into a percentage. A career, however, is built in everything that the final number cannot show at once: the repetition behind the movement, the adjustment from one horse to another and the patience required to progress through the levels.
Natalie Tania Joanna Lankester's international record is best read in that longer frame. Representing the United Arab Emirates, she has accumulated 85 FEI starts and 13 victories. As of 27 August 2026, the FEI rankings placed her fifth in the CDI2*/CDIO2* division with 892 points and 46th at CDI1*/CDIO1* level with 1,026 points.

They continued into the individual programme, finishing 15th in the Intermediate I and 12th in the Intermediate I Freestyle. Those results did not arrive as isolated headlines. Together, they documented a combination capable of navigating successive championship tests while representing a country still expanding its presence in international dressage.
Three victories to open 2026
The opening months of 2026 brought a different partnership to the foreground. Riding Hexagon's Grandville DXB, Lankester won the CDI2* Intermediate II in Abu Dhabi on 25 January with 63.824%.
Less than two weeks later in Butheeb, the pair added two more CDI2* wins: the Intermediate B on 4 February with 66.648%, followed by another Intermediate II victory on 5 February with 63.824%. The sequence gave the season a clear shape—three international wins across two venues and two tests.
A season across horses and levels
The year's record also illustrates the wider work behind a campaign. At Neustadt in late July, Lankester competed Furst Dance DXB and Tesla DXB in the CDI1* Prix St Georges, finishing 14th on 65.784% and 26th on 61.226% respectively.
Placed beside the Intermediate-level results with Grandville DXB, those starts reveal a programme that is not tied to a single horse or a single point on the training scale. It is an ongoing process of building combinations, gathering information and returning to the arena with a more precise answer.
What the numbers can—and cannot—say
The official record confirms starts, scores, victories and championship placings. It does not tell us what a rider felt before entering the arena or what changed in training between one test and the next. Those details belong to the athlete, and they should not be invented to make a profile sound more intimate than the evidence allows.
What the record does support is substantial: a UAE dressage rider with experience across multiple horses, an Asian Games appearance and a 2026 season that opened with three CDI2* victories. In a discipline defined by refinement, that continuity is a story in itself.
